The Berlin-based duo of Mathis Mootz (The Panacea) and David Frisch, better known as New Frames makes a come back to BITE for their second EP on the imprint. This time the progressive techno project joins forces with the BITE label boss, Phase Fatale on the A-side, producing a highly energetic EP packed with hard dance-floor-oriented tracks and just the right amount of attitude.The release explores a more playful direction, in comparison to the duo’s first appearance on the label. BITE022 is representative of New Frames’ signature old school and neo-industrial rave sound, infused with occasional breakbeat, trance, bass, driven sample rollers, and more elements that make putting labels on New Frames’ vibrant output seem impossible and unnecessary.Artwork by Florian Engerling
